Since 1993 I served as Practice Manager for the Avian & Exotic Animal Hospital. In 2024 I decided to step into semi-retirement and work primarily from home. I continue to go into the practice when needed and for monthly staff meetings. I am enjoying my position as Practice Administrator, managing the business side of our practice. I love that I can stay connected to the hospital that I helped build alongside my husband. As one of the few privately owned family practices still around San Diego, we continue to provide the best care to our patients and clients. Our practice is truly extraordinary! Each day is filled with something new and exciting. I'm blessed to continue to be a part of such a fabulous team of people. I am most grateful that my husband, Dr. Jeff Jenkins followed his dream of becoming an exotic animal veterinarian. He is the heart and soul of our incredible work family!
The staff here are the best of the best! They give all of themselves to their work and share a deep passion for exotics together.
When not working I enjoy spending time with my husband, our beautiful daughter, working in my rose garden, cooking and overland camping to secluded spots in our off-road trailer!
