James joined the Avian & Exotic Animal Hospital team in 2025 and brings a strong passion for animal care rooted in a lifelong love of the ocean and marine life. Inspired by veterinary professionals during time spent at Birch Aquarium, James pursued a path dedicated to supporting and treating animals in a clinical setting.
Professional Role & Experience
As a Client Services Representative, James helps ensure smooth communication, scheduling, and support for clients and patients. His experience at Birch Aquarium provided valuable insight into animal care and sparked an interest in veterinary medicine.
At AEAH, James especially enjoys working with Amazon parrots and appreciates the intelligence and personality of these birds. His personal favorite animal he has worked with at the hospital are marmosets.
Currently training to become a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT), James is committed to continuing education and expanding clinical knowledge within the field.
