Professional Role & Experience
Daisy began volunteering at a Southern California parrot rehabilitation organization, where she spent several years learning about avian care and behavior. That early experience deepened her passion for working with birds and solidified her desire to work in veterinary medicine.
She joined AEAH as a kennel assistant and worked her way up to becoming a Registered Veterinary Technician. Today, Daisy assists with laboratory work, blood draws, syringe feeding, and provides hands-on patient care. She especially enjoys working with Amazon parrots and has a special fondness for rabbits, appreciating their gentle personalities and unique care needs.
Her progression from kennel assistant to RVT reflects her dedication, work ethic, and commitment to continued growth within the field.
