Amber Joubert

I joined the Avian & Exotic Practice as a Registered Veterinary Technician, (RVT) in 2009.  I have really enjoyed working with Dr. Jenkins and his staff.  It’s like working in a very exciting mini zoo, which has been a dream of mine since I was young.

I have always had a passion working with and helping animals.  That’s what made me want to join the Animal Health Technology Program at Mesa College where I trained and graduated to become an RVT.

My passion for animals has spilled over to my home, as I have 4 pets.  Currently, my pets include Val an energetic German Shepherd whom I adopted from the Humane Society, Pancho a laidback double yellow headed Amazon whom I adopted from the practice, and Sky & Amore two tortoise-shell cats with attitudes whom I adopted from the Camp Pendleton shelter.
