I began working at AEAH as a veterinary assistant/receptionist during the summer of 2010 and immediately fell in love with the doctors, staff, and all of our amazing animal patients. I have had a strong compassion for animals since a very young age so working in the veterinary field is by far the most rewarding job I’ve ever had.
Shortly after joining the team, I went back to school where I am currently studying to become a registered veterinary technician so I can contribute my knowledge and experience at a higher level in the field.
I have an 11 year old Basset Hound Boxer mix named Eleanor (aka: Roo, Jelly, Hippo, etc.) who is my pride and joy. I am definitely able to relate to our clients who consider their pets a part of the family. That’s something I like best about working at AEAH: relating to our clients by understanding their concerns, worries, and excitement about their pets.
I was born and raised in San Diego and I love it here! During my rare spare time I enjoy running, hiking, walking and playing with Ella, laughing, and hanging out with my friends and family. I am very happy to say I am one of the lucky people in the world who enjoy going to work.
